IT’S unbelievable, yet the petulant but brilliant billionaire Elon Musk is offering cash incentives to voters who sign a “petition in favour of free speech and the right to bear arms” as part of his efforts to get his friend Mr Trump back into the White House.

Donald Trump is a self-centred, dishonest, rude and arrogant man. He is also a convicted felon and a misogynist, xenophobic and racist – not a person to inspire confidence.
The feverish religious Midwest, in blindly supporting such a man, have cast a moral shadow over the USA, where hangs a fractured democracy – God save America and indeed the world, if Trump becomes president again!

Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
