A COMPLETE stranger to our village put a leaflet from David Mundell in my mailbox. It was heading straight into the recycling bin, or maybe even the Tories’ Freepost address, when something caught my eye.
The headline theme was “It’s me or the SNP” but the contents were enlightening. Every single one of the things he is “promising” to do for the constituency is the responsibility of Holyrood!

I always thought the man was a waste of oxygen and I’m awfully glad I never consulted him as a solicitor because he apparently has no idea what his job actually entails.
If it was him or the wee dug four doors along, with one eye and a wonky tail, it would be the dug every time!

Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
