The National:

A SCOTLAND fan with a ticket to the Euros final had the perfect quip for a news reporter asking whether he could be convinced to sell it.

England are due to face-off against Spain in the final of Euros in Berlin on Sunday.

Ahead of the match, the ITV News reporter Rachel Younger was on the ground in the German capital speaking to England fans.

There was much optimism amongst their supporters despite Spain being the bookies favourite to win.

However, the most interesting part of the segment came when Younger spotted a lone Tartan Army member sporting a Scotland top.

"Amid the selfies and St George's flags, a sight to stun any England fan," said Younger.

"A Scot with a ticket."

She then asked the man: "Is there anything an England fan can pay you to stop you supporting the Spaniards and give up your ticket?"

Without a moment's hesitation the man replied: "Give us independence".

"It's a steep price," said Younger.

"It's a great price," replied the man.

The Tartan Army once again proving why they're the best support in the world.
