Scottish athletes make up more than a third of the Team GB competing in the Winter 2022 Olympics.

The full Team GB lineup was announced on January 24 with 50 athletes confirmed to be heading to Beijing for the games.

Although it is Britain’s smallest team for the Winter Games since 2010 in Vancouver, when Amy Williams won the only medal in the women’s skeleton, there are still a few impressive Scots athletes confirmed to appear.

Here are all the Scottish athletes going for gold in the 2022 Winter Olympics.

Bronze medalist and Olympic flag bearer, Eve Muirhead will be in China for her fourth games.

Muirhead was confirmed on Thursday to be one of the Team GB flagbearers in Friday's opening ceremony, alongside alpine ski racer Dave Ryding.

The former world champion will be joined by many athletes making their Olympic debuts.

We will see Scots competing across the events from Cross-country skiing and figure skating to Short track speed skating and curling.
