LIAM SHAW and Osaze Urhoghide are already fighting for their Celtic futures, according to a report.
The Hoops snapped up the Sheffield Wednesday pair during the summer, with the former penning a pre-contract deal back when Neil Lennon was still in charge.
Prior to joining for £250,000 development fees, Urhoghide played 21 games for Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship and FA Cup, while Shaw had featured 24 for the club in the Championship, EFL Cup and FA Cup.
But both have struggled to make an impact under Ange Postecoglou - being named on the subs list just three times so far this campaign.
And the Scottish Sun say both of the players have a fight on their hands to convince the Parkhead club that they have what it takes to stay.
Both Shaw and Urhoghide are still waiting on their first team debuts.
Neither of the youngsters made the bench at the weekend for the 2-0 win over St Johnstone.
It’s reported they’re not yet considered to be at the levels of those ahead of them in Postecoglou’s player pecking order.
This could lead to both the midfielder and defender seeking loan moves in January.
Both featured heavily during the summer for the club's European qualifiers, but a lot of the club's business was done later in the window.
The duo signed contracts until the summer of 2025.
Urhoghide arrived in July following Postecoglou’s appointment, officially the first signing for the Aussie.
