KYLE LAFFERTY reckons Rangers midfielder Steven Davis could play into his forties as he continues to lead the way for club and country this term.
The Northern Irishman has been an integral part of Steven Gerrard's side once again this season and his efforts have been rewarded with a Premiership title medal and extended Ibrox deal.
Davis will remain as part of Gerrard's side for Rangers' defence of their league flag and return to the Champions League next season and shows no signs of slowing down in the twilight of his career.

The 36-year-old has been nominated for the Scottish Football Writers Association Player of the Year prize this term and former Ibrox team-mate Lafferty isn't surprised to see Davis still showing his class on and off the park.
Lafferty said: "Shocked? Probably not because he's up there in the top two or three of the best players I've ever played with.
"He's got better as he's got older, crazy as it sounds. He's dictating games against top-class players in the Europa League and doing it every week in the Premiership.
"He's running around like a 25-year-old making his debut. He could easily play until he's 40.

"He put in another ten-star performance against Celtic at the weekend. I don't want to say he's abnormal but he's one of a kind.
"I'd say he's got just a wee bit more ability on the ball than me. Me and Davo are very close and I've known him for 15 years.

"He's one of the players who has been telling me: 'Get in the ice bath, you'll benefit from it, stuff like that.'
"He has looked after himself for a long time and it's showing now. He's performing to high standards.
"If I can continue like he's doing, I'll be happy."
Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
