A new political era will dawn as Joe Biden takes office as president of the United States.
And while it seems like everyone is talking about the inauguration and the start of the Biden era, a Scottish football club is using the election win to commemorate something entirely different.
On 7 November as Joe Biden was declared the victor of the US presidential election, Stirling Albion were celebrating their fifth goal in a 5-0 win over Brechin.

Commemorating the moment in history, the Binos have now launched a t-shirt on the club shop which marks the moment Declan Byrne scored the 5th goal in the victory at Glebe Park.

The shirt, which is available on the online club store reads: “History will remember that at the moment Joe Biden was elected President of the United States, Stirling Albion were rattling in their fifth goal at Brechin.”
The shirt from the Scottish League 2 side is priced at £15.
Joe Biden will be sworn in as the 46th president of the United States on Wednesday amid unprecedented security after Donald Trump’s supporters stormed the Capitol earlier this month.
