MEGHAN Gallacher has pledged to deliver on the “5 Ps” after launching a campaign to become leader of the Scottish Conservatives – pockets, properties, parents, pensioners and protection.

It’s catchy, we’ll give her that. But it’s a real shame the party’s deputy leader seems to have neglected one other key P. Proofing.

Anyone who goes onto her website meghanforleader.poliengine.com is immediately presented with a feast of spelling and grammatical errors. 

Her key slogan – Reset, Rebuild, Restore – has a typo in it in the middle of the home page (rebuld), while in detailing her experience she has said she has “served has an associate office bearer”.

Further down the page in the “about” section, Husband and Daughter are needlessly capped up yet, in describing her Indian ringneck parrot – like we needed to know – she has neglected to cap up Indian.

Also, when you are talking about several Ps Meghan, it’s Ps, not P’s. You use P's if something is belonging to a P. Savvy?

And we haven’t even got to the part where Gallacher describes herself as “grassroots campaign” in the “volunteer” section.

I don’t really remember any major marches or placards personally. Maybe an “er” on the end there Meghan?
