The National:

UPON publication of the Privileges Comittee report into whether Boris Johnson misled Parliament over partygate, many of us have awoken with fury on this Thursday morning.

The committee recommended a 90-day suspension after he misled Parliament multiple times and we're glad to see the back of him.

But if Beth Rigby's tweet on the report is anyting to go by, it would appear one SNP MP on the committee suggested blowing Johnson up.

The Sky News political editor tweeted: "Thats a much longer suspension than expected. Long but not the longest - Keith Vaz was suspended for 6 months. Unanimous verdict (apart SNP MP on cttee who recommended explosion)."

The obvious blunder has caused much hilarity across social media and Rigby eventually caught on as she deleted it.

Well he sure has created some fireworks I suppose...so maybe that MP got what they wanted in the end!
