Aero, which was initially launched by Nestle back in 1935, is a popular chocolate choice for many Brits with it being among the top 15 chocolate brands in the UK in 2024.
We reported recently that the Facebook group UK Newest Foods had revealed a new Aero chocolate bar was "coming soon" to stores across the UK.
Now Nestle has confirmed the release of the new choco-hazelnut flavoured Aero bar which will be available across the UK from this week.
Nestle said the new choco-hazelnut "sharing bar" brought together "Aero’s signature melt-in-your-mouth bubbles and the smooth, nutty flavour of hazelnut, to create a deliciously bubbly symphony".
The hazelnut flavour came about as it was frequently requested by followers of Aero’s social media channels.
Assistant Brand Manager for Aero, Michael Kehoe, said: "We can’t wait to share the heavenly combination of Aero and hazelnut.
"Aero’s iconic light and airy chocolate bubbles have been loved worldwide for decades, and this new hazelnut flavour takes it to a whole new level.
"We hope our Aero fans will enjoy the indulgent taste experience of the rich hazelnut flavour whilst feeling the bubbles melt."

Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
