CHANNEL 4 Dispatches has announced it will air an investigation into the “secret millions” the British royal family are earning each year.

The broadcaster announced the news of its investigation with a short trailer saying “for years the royals' wealth has been shrouded in secrecy", and claims it will reveal the hidden millions in income they have earned.

The award-winning investigative current affairs programme by Channel 4 delves into a wide variety of topics surrounding British society including, politics, health, international affairs, and the environment.

Its next series, called The King, the Prince and Their Secret Millions: Dispatches, will focus on what the royal family have “hidden” from the public and what the “real costs” are to keep the King and his son William “rich”.

In a post to social media Channel 4 Dispatches wrote: “For the first time, Dispatches can reveal the secret millions the royals are earning.

“For years they've kept the details of some of their wealth a secret but now we can reveal who is paying them and for what.”

A short 20-second trailer accompanied the post on Twitter/X which the narrator said: “For years the royals' wealth has been shrouded in secrecy.

“Now Dispatches has discovered what they haven’t told you and how much it's costing us to keep Charles and William rich.

“The King, the Prince, and their Secret Millions.”
