POLICE are treating the death of a woman at a property in Fife as “unexplained”.

Emergency services were called to Valley Gardens South in Kirkcaldy at around 9.30pm on Monday.

Medical teams pronounced a 46-year-old woman dead at the scene.

Investigators are treating the incident as unexplained. However, there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers attended an address on Valley Gardens South in Kirkcaldy around 9.30pm on October 28.

“A 46-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Her death is currently being treated as unexplained however there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.”
