A BUSY section of the A9 has been restricted following a crash with two cars near Calrossie.

Traffic on the A9 road, near Logie Hill, has been restricted southbound since around 11.40am on Friday following the collision.

Traffic Scotland issued a warning to motorists to be careful when approaching the section of the road.

A post online read: “The A9 is currently restricted, southbound, near Calrossie, due to a road traffic incident.

“Road users should use caution on approach.”

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.30am on Friday, 27 September 2024, we were called to a report of a two-vehicle crash on the A9 near the B9165 Junction, Tain.

“Officers attended and there were no reports of any injuries. The road has since been cleared.”
