A POPULAR Glasgow restaurant is set to "temporarily close" its doors for a huge makeover.
Ox and Finch on Sauchiehall Street in the city centre revealed it will be shut from Sunday, October 13 until Spring 2025.
The food spot is known for offering creative and contemporary tapas-style dishes.
Taking to social media to announce its temporary closure, the eatery says it follows celebrating its 10th birthday earlier this year.
As part of its birthday celebrations, the eatery teased it had "very special plans" to mark the occasion.

Now, the much-loved food joint said they are "thrilled" to reveal the venue will be undergoing a renovation this autumn-winter.
They said the eatery will be operating as "business as usual" until it closes on Saturday, October 12.
After that, it will be shut until Spring next year to allow a transformation of the location.
In a Facebook post, the venue said:
"Renovations happening soon. Earlier this year, Ox and Finch celebrated its 10th year at 920 Sauchiehall Street.
"With few expectations, the restaurant has been open seven days a week, often welcoming upwards of 300 guests a day.
"We're immensely proud of what we've achieved in the past decade and we're thrilled to announce that Ox and Finch will be undergoing a renovation this autumn-winter.
"Ox and Finch will be business as usual until the close of Saturday, October 12. The restaurant will be closed from Sunday, October 13 until Spring 2025.
"Any outstanding reservations for the rest of this year have been transferred to Margo, our brand-new city centre restaurant, opening soon.
"Our team have been busy reaching out to all those with future bookings. If you have something upcoming and don't think you've received a call to discuss the transfer, please get in touch soon by email or phone.
"We're incredibly grateful for the support our valued customers have shown Ox and Finch over the past ten years and we're looking forward to welcoming them back with some exciting updates in 2025.
"Unspent gift vouchers are still valid for use once Ox and Finch reopen, or they can be redeemed at Margo, Ka Pao Glasgow, and Ka Pao Edinburgh before then."
Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
