A LAMBORGHINI has been seized by road police after it was spotted "racing other motors" on Glasgow's M74.

Officers stopped the plush sports car on the motorway near Dalmarnock recently.

After that, the driver was arrested for allegedly failing a roadside drug test. Police say the car was then seized under the anti-social behaviour legislation.

It comes after Glasgow Road Policing revealed they had a "busy 24 hours" on July 22.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Glasgow Road Policing had a busy 24 hours responding to a wide range of incidents, from 999 calls to vehicle pursuits.

"Some folk continue to put others at risk, ignoring our Don't Risk It advice; they either walk home or end up in a Room with no view out of harm's way."
