A WOMAN has died after being found unresponsive in a park in Bo’ness.

Emergency services were called to Calder Park, near Deanfield Road, in Bo’ness after a report of a woman taking unwell at around 9:15pm on Friday.

A 33-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The woman’s death is being treated as unexplained, but the police have said there are no apparent suspicious circumstances.

A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 9.15pm on Friday, 5 July, to a report of a woman unwell in the Calder Park area of Bo’ness near Deanfield Road.

“Emergency services attended and a 33-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

“The death is being treated as unexplained but there are no apparent suspicious circumstances and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
