HUNDREDS of Taylor Swift fans could be seen queuing to buy merch as the global pop star prepares to play three shows in Edinburgh.

Whilst the first show is not until Friday, eager Swifties can already access the merchandise stalls, whether or not they have purchased a ticket.

Video footage shows hundreds of fans queuing outside Murrayfield stadium, a day before the singer is set to perform.

Early access to merch is available on Thursday and Friday and is open to all between 10am and 8pm.

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday – when Swift is performing, non-ticket holders can buy merchandise between 10am and 1pm.

After 1pm, only those with a show ticket for that specific day will be able to access merchandise.

As the capital prepares to welcome Swift, the Reel Time Pipe Band performed the star’s classic hit Love Story on the bagpipes.

Businesses across Edinburgh have also been preparing for the gigs, with various bars and restaurants offering special menu items to celebrate the occasion.

The nearby Edinburgh Zoo, about a 20-minute walk from the stadium, has offered £20 concert parking for each show day, as well as 25% off zoo tickets from June 7 to 9 for Eras Tour ticket holders.
