SCOTTISH independence supporters will gather for All Under One Banner’s (AUOB) March for Independence on Saturday in Glasgow where speakers from across the movement have been confirmed.
Parties including the SNP, Alba and the Scottish Socialist Party have confirmed speakers for the event which will culminate in a rally at Glasgow Green.
There will also be speakers from the Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign, the Scottish Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament and the Stop the War Coalition, as well as music acts taking to the stage.
As well as displaying support for Scottish independence, the event will also be a demonstration against Israel’s bombardment of Gaza and for a nuclear-free Scotland.

AUOB said the event is designed to demonstrate the power of the grassroots movement and every independence supporter, whether they have any party affiliation or not, is invited.
In a post on social media, the organisation said: “All Under One Banner marches welcome all who support Scottish independence.
“It doesn't matter which party you are in, or if in no party; nor who you have voted for in the past, nor where you come from or who you are. If you desire independence then you are most welcome.

Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
