A WOMAN has been charged after a man fell from a flat window in Dundee and died.

Two other individuals have been accused of abduction and extortion.

Police and ambulance services were called to the incident on Morgan Street in Dundee in early January. A 36-year-old had been reported to have fallen from a window.

The man was taken to Ninewells hospital and later died.

A 38-year-old woman has now been charged with culpable homicide while a 50-year-old man and 41-year-old woman have been arrested and charged with abduction and extortion.

All three will appear at Dundee Sherriff Court on Thursday.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers have arrested and charged a 38-year-old woman with culpable homicide after a 36-year-old man fell from a block of flats on Morgan Street, Dundee on Wednesday, January 10. He died a week later in hospital.

“A 50-year-old man and 41-year-old woman have also been arrested and charged with abduction and extortion following the incident.

“They will all be appearing in Dundee Sheriff Court on Thursday, April 4, 2024. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
