AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after a man was found dead at a beauty spot.
Police are in attendance at the 95-feet tall Hopetoun Monument in East Lothian.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “At 6pm on Tuesday, a man was found deceased within a car in the car park at the Hopetoun Monument.
“At this time, the death is being treated as unexplained.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances.”
