SEVEN men have been arrested and charged in connection with the recovery of a large cannabis cultivation within a derelict building in Ayrshire.
Officers made the discovery after being called to a report of suspicious activity on King Street in the Kilmarnock area around 4am on Thursday, March 2..
Enquiries are ongoing to confirm the total value of the recovery however the plants found within the building have an estimated street value of up to £150,000.
The seven men are due to appear before Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Friday and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
