GLASGOW'S famous Barras Market has made a huge announcement this week.

The East End landmark has revealed that it will soon be expanding its market trading spaces due to "phenomenal demand".

The news means that there will now be a huge outdoor piece of land within the markets.

The venue has revealed that it is currently levelling out the area to soon add a covered marquee, allowing people to browse and shop in all weather conditions.
