BUDGET airline easyJet has launched three new winter routes from Scotland.

Both Glasgow and Edinburgh will see new routes as part of the launch.

From Edinburgh, easyJet will launch flights direct to Hurghada in Egypt and to Rovaniemi in Finland.

And from Glasgow, flights will go directly to Hurghada, a beach resort town on the north-west coast of the Red Sea known for its scuba diving.

Rovaniemi is known as the capital of Lapland and is famous for being a great spot to see the Northern Lights.

EasyJet said that the first flights to the Egyptian destination would take off on November 6, while the first to Finland are scheduled for December 3. Tickets are available to book now.
