POLICE have issued an update after a man was arrested in connection with the death of another man in Glasgow. 

Emergency services were called to a flat in Gelnisla Street in the city's Tollcross at around 5.05pm on Sunday, June 25 after a man was found injured. 

Stuart Williams, 50, was pronounced dead at the scene, with his death being treated as "suspicious".

On Tuesday, police confirmed a 51-year-old man had been arrested in connection with his death. 

He has since been released pending further enquiries.
