REPORTS of a man seen with a firearm in Stirling are being investigated by police.
The man was reportedly spotted carrying a gun near Dobbie’s Garden Centre near the A84 on Monday.
A full search was conducted but officers say no suspect was found.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 12.05pm on Monday, January 9, police were called to a report of a male seen in possession of what appeared to be a firearm near Drip Road, Stirling.
“Officers attended and carried out a full search of the area; however, there was no trace of the man seen.
“There were no reports of any firearm discharged or anyone injured.”
