MOMENTUM is building on the second day of an online pro-independence drive run by Believe in Scotland.

The organisation is running a week-long initiative to promote independence across the web, with digital leaflets and billboards being widely shared and supporters invited to explain why they #BelieveinScotland.

The group is hoping to reach undecided voters and soft No voters with key pro-independence messaging as part of the project.

On Tuesday, Believe in Scotland ran a Protect Scotland’s NHS campaign – arguing that only independence can protect the health service from Tory privatisation.

The organisation has posted two campaign graphics on the issue, but only one will be used for its official ads, leaflets and billboards. Social media users are invited to share the graphic they prefer in a “share-off”, with the ad published most times chosen for the final product.

Gordon MacIntyre-Kemp, the founder and chief executive of Believe in Scotland, said: “It's a bit of campaigning fun but also serious business.

“By taking part not only are you helping us decided the image that will be used in our next big campaign push and feature on billboards across Scotland in the new year, but you are increasing the chance that one of these images and the informative landing page reaches an undecided or soft No voters Facebook feed.”
