1. Abortion existed, exists and will exist, whether the law prohibits it or not. It is important that it takes place in safe conditions, without breaking the law.

In Poland, 99% of abortions are conducted illegally, as the most restrictive abortion laws in Europe make it impossible to seek help from legal sources.

On October 22 this year, the Polish Constitutional Tribunal decided to invalidate the possibility of abortion due to “a serious and irreversible defect of a fatal or incurable disease that threatens the life of the fetus”.
