Rangers hero Ally McCoist has hailed Glen Kamara after the midfielder penned a new Ibrox contract.
The Finnish midfielder’s initial agreement was due to expire in 2023 but the Light Blues have moved to secure his services on an extended contract after being impressed by his contribution since his move from Dundee in January 2019.
McCoist is a huge fan of the Finnish international and he was delighted with the news that he had signed an improved deal.
He told Premier Sports: “Ah 100 per cent. What a signing that lad has been I have to say.
“Rumour has it Rangers signed him for £50,000 from Dundee. Absolutely amazing.
“Even when he was up at Dundee you can see he has been well schooled.
“You can see he has had a good upbringing and education about football with Arsenal.
“He has been well brought up, well coached and he deserves everything that has been coming his way.
“He is an international and he is a great resigning for Rangers.”
