SO, Dr Sarah Wollaston thought that Jo Swinson did well under lightweight interrogation by Lord Neil of Englandshire. Oh, sure, she got a few awkward questions but without the vicious, aggressive, rude, non-stop interruptions and totally unacceptable grilling of Jeremy Corbyn and Nicola Sturgeon. And we are still waiting for the invisible man to be subjected to the Neil treatment. I’ve a feeling we will be waiting a very long time.

I just hope that when all this fiasco is over his masters in the English Broadcasting Corporation, along with whoever else is charged with ensuring fair and equal treatment, will sit down and watch all four, maybe five interviews and if they can then say that they all received fair and equal treatment it will just confirm to us all what we already know – that Neil is Tory blue and that the EBC is just the propaganda wing of the British/English National Party!!!
Then they wonder why so many have refused to pay their TV licence and have lost all hope of ever hearing one iota of truth from them.

Why are you making commenting on The National only available to subscribers?
We know there are thousands of National readers who want to debate, argue and go back and forth in the comments section of our stories. We’ve got the most informed readers in Scotland, asking each other the big questions about the future of our country.
Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
So that’s why we’ve decided to make the ability to comment only available to our paying subscribers. That way, all the trolls who post abuse on our website will have to pay if they want to join the debate – and risk a permanent ban from the account that they subscribe with.
The conversation will go back to what it should be about – people who care passionately about the issues, but disagree constructively on what we should do about them. Let’s get that debate started!
