UTTER contempt! That’s how I view the recent decrees by so-called democrats who purport to believe in the power of the people’s vote, but not when it applies to Scotland.

In the last few weeks we’ve had all the big hitters agree. Brown with his Brexit Armageddon predictions but nevertheless “suck it up, Scotland” pronouncements. And McDonnell and then Corbyn with their “yes, but no, but yes, but now is not the time so no, Scotland” laser-focused clarity. And we certainly shouldn’t forget the big fearty, backdoor Boris “no to Section30”, who has been too afraid, despite two recent visits to Scotland, to actually walk amongst us. A treat he seems to have reserved for other parts of the UK.

We’ve also had the little hitters. Jo “get the taxpayer to buy my eyeliner, Tory lite” Swinson who has declared that there is “no mandate” for indyref2 despite there being a clear and unambiguous democratic mandate. And now we have her little sidekick too.

It seems that according to Willie Rennie this weekend, Salmond’s much repeated “once in a generation” statement has morphed into once in a lifetime; in Rennie’s mind that would be his lifetime to be precise. What utter, contemptible nonsense!

Every single one of these people would have us believe that they hold democracy dear, and yet every single one of these people is prepared to ignore, vilify and belittle the Scottish electorate and defy the democratically won right for indyref2.

With no vision for Scotland except more of the same, and no policies to recognise the divergence between the aspirations of the Scottish and rUK electorates, they offer nothing other than NO. No matter how Scotland votes, they tell us the answer will remain NO. It is clear these politicians believe that democracy can go to the dogs; they will abandon any democratic principles to prevent Scotland even holding a vote.

So that leaves to my mind only one conclusion to be drawn from their myriad vociferous protestations – they know, and we know, this time they are going to lose.

THE judgment by the Court of Session – the most senior UK court to sit on the very specific issue of whether the prorogation of the UK Parliament by the UK Prime Minister, in this particular case, was lawful or unlawful – is now UK law. Ever since the judgment was made, the closure of the UK Parliament under this prorogation has been unlawful under UK law. This fact cannot be compromised by the possibility of any future judgment(s) from the UK Supreme Court.

Anyone who values the fundamental principle of the rule of law should take their opposition to this unlawful prorogation to the UK Prime Minister and/or any MPs who supported it. There are, for starters, 13 Conservative MPs in Scotland who seem to have made no effort to support the court judgment. Their silence shows a lack of respect for the legal process not just in this country but throughout the UK as a whole, on this matter.

Services performed by the UK Parliament, on our behalf and paid for through taxation, have been unlawfully curtailed. The meter started ticking from the moment the Court of Session made its judgment. It is time for us to calculate the value of the many work hours, paid for through taxation, that have been lost through this unlawful action of the UK Prime Minister. The bill for the rebate for these unlawfully removed services should be paid by the person responsible, the UK Prime Minister. There is also a very real possibility that the unlawful prorogation may create its own costs to the public. Class action anyone?

BORIS Johnson’s prorogation of the Westminster Parliament is deemed unlawful by three pretendy judges from a pretendy judicial system in Scotland. After Brexit the pretendy legal system in Scotland will have to be abolished along with the pretendy Scottish Parliament.

It is important that in this United Kingdom we have unity of purpose, going forward as one nation to face the world and show our strength as the Mother of Parliaments and the greatest trading nation in the history of the world. As the English are the superior race in these islands, it is only right and proper that English law should be the only law in the UK. We should all become English, including the DUP and their friends in NI. That is until we become American as the 51st state of the USA.

This approach would solve the problem for Steve Clarke. Scotland would no longer have a separate football team or indeed a football league. Football is an English game and will be run from down south. Other sports will be similarly included in the Greater England approach as the United Kingdom disappears. We already compete as one country in some competitions.

We constantly hear complaints in the Scottish Parliament from the Unionist parties about the running of Scotland by the current Scottish Government. Let Jackson Carlaw, Richard Leonard and Willie Rennie tell us if anything would be wrong with a Union of these islands run entirely from London without their participation. Since the Westminster Government tends to ignore North Britain, will that please these Scotland in Unionists?

As Greater England takes over, there is bound to be trouble in areas of these islands where some of the population do not appreciate the beneficence of those in power. These deluded people may even revolt, possibly taking up weapons in order fight on the streets. It will then be necessary to keep parliament shut so that the government can maintain control as troops are deployed to keep it in power. I believe this was the method employed by Herr Hitler in 1930s Germany. It was effective for him, but utilising modern methods it will be even better.

If you have read thus far, you may be thinking that I’m off my rocker. I am indeed writing with tongue in cheek, but I know there are many out there, including distinguished thinkers, who are already warning us of such a future. For me there is only one future which will work for the people of Scotland. We must alert the Unionist population to the ultimate logical conclusion to their wishes. In the upcoming election and beyond we must fight hard for an independent Scotland run by us for us.
