ANDREW Learmonth’s article, “FM told ‘heads should roll’ over Sick Kids delay” (September 13) is enlightening as it exposes Jackson Carlaw’s extravagant – and I would suggest inappropriate – use of language.

When compared with Boris Johnson’s illegal action of closing down the Westminster Parliament and lying to Her Majesty The Queen, I would have thought that an appropriate punishment for the PM would have been to have him hung, drawn and quartered! I also note that Jackson Carlaw exonerates the contractor from any blame. I wonder why?

Sadly this form of debate in the Scottish Parliament only demeans it in the eyes of the people, but alas it is part of the Tory party’s ongoing campaign to rubbish everything Scottish in the hope of closing the parliament down.

It would appear it is the leaderless Tory party in Scotland that will close down unless they can attract talented candidates whose loyalty is to the people of Scotland.
