A PORT Glasgow man alleged to have been carrying a knife in Port Glasgow set to stand trial.
Prosecutors say Kai Davidson, 20, had the blade on his person without reasonable excuse or lawful authority on Muirdykes Avenue on November 9 last year.
Davidson, of Marloch Avenue, has pleaded not guilty to the charge through lawyer Derek Buchanan and is set to stand trial on August 21.
The matter will call again on July 23.
