Heart of Midlothian have been handed a triple injury boost ahead of Saturday’s Premiership fixture at home to Livingston after Steven Naismith confirmed that Calem Nieuwenhof is back in contention to start, as are Beni Baningime and Lawrence Shankland. Stephen Kingsley, too, is available.

Kingsley played the first half of last weekend’s 2-1 win away to St Mirren before being subbed at the break due to a hamstring issue, while Nieuwenhof hasn’t featured since last month’s 2-0 victory over Celtic. Baningime, meanwhile, missed Saturday's victory as he was feeling unwell.

Lawrence Shankland also sat out the trip to Paisley due to a bout of illness, but the team’s talismanic striker confirmed earlier this week that he will return to the matchday squad against David Martindale’s relegation-threatened side.

Long-term absentees Craig Halkett, Peter Haring and Liam Boyce are the only players unavailable.

“Everybody that has been ill has had a normal week of training, which is fantastic for us,” Naismith told Hearts TV.

“So, it’s only really Halkett, Haring and Boycie [who are unavailable]. Everyone else is back in and around the squad. Finlay Pollock has done a full week’s training, which is good for him, so we’re in a good place.”
