INVERCLYDE was battered by winds of up to 56mph last night as Storm Jocelyn rolled in and brought further serious disruption to public transport this morning.
As high gusts of 44mph continue to blow across the district today all rush hour trains have been cancelled.
All Caledonian MacBrayne ferry services between Gourock and Dunoon and Gourock and Kilcreggan have been suspended.
The company said this morning that service disruption between Wemyss Bay and Rothesay is liable to disruption or cancellation.
Due to a power outage at Wemyss Bay the 6.25am sailing from Rothesay was unable to berth.
CalMac said it will carry out a review regarding its Firth of Clyde services at 9am.
Meanwhile, all Western Ferries sailings between McInroy's Point and Hunters Quay are also suspended this morning.
Winds of up to 70mph are expected today.
ScotRail says that its trains will remain off throughout this morning.
Amber and yellow weather warning are in place, just days after Storm Isha brought havoc.
