A YELLOW weather warning has been issued for much of Scotland, including Glasgow.

The MET office has announced that a spell of strong winds is expected to cause disruptions.

According to forecasters, there will be a small chance of injuries and danger to life from flying debris, some damage to buildings, longer journey times or cancellations, and road closures.

There will also be a small chance that injuries and danger to life could occur from large waves and beach material being thrown onto sea fronts, coastal roads and properties.

The warning will be in place from 5am until 3pm tomorrow.
