TWO more Yes groups are to hold rallies in reaction to the Supreme Court's indyref case verdict on Wednesday 23.

Skye and Inverurie join the eight areas that were previously confirmed to be holding rallies, bringing the total up to 10 and consequently widening availability of events to activists.

The main rally is to be held at Holyrood and seven others will be held in Glasgow, Perth, Dundee, Selkirk, Inverness, Aberdeen and Dumfries.

The public can sign up to get notified of all the event details.

Yes Skye and Lochalsh will host their rally outside Portree Sheriff Court in Portree Square. The group may also have a street stall in the square, depending on weather conditions.

The Garioch Women for Change group is hosting its reaction rally at Inverurie Town Hall.

Both rallies will start at 5:30pm.

The rally in Edinburgh, intended to be the main one, is estimated to have over 5000 people turn up, with pipers set to be in attendance.

A small steering group, working under the banner Time for Scotland, is organising sound systems, speakers and liaising with Scottish Parliament authorities so everything is "ready to roll" for the verdict day.

Time for Scotland has also put out an email on Wednesday stating: "Text or WhatsApp, or message 3 pals today and tell them where you will be and ask them to chum you.

"Get your blank banner ready raring to go for Wednesday. Win, lose or draw it will be Time for Scotland."
