After months of training and hard work, the weekend that thousands of runners have been waiting for is finally here. 

The London Marathon 2022, takes place this Sunday, October 2, seeing supporters and athletes take to the streets of the capital to show their love and put their hard work into action. 

Although participants have been preparing themselves and sticking to a strike plan, there is one thing no one can control.

The overall look of the day is a chilly start with the highest temperature at 17c and cloudy skies throughout the day. 

But there will be very little chance of rain during the entire day and wind will be little to none, making in the perfect running weather. 

7am- 12C, cloudy with 10% chance of precipitation and 10mph wind gust. 

10am- 13C cloudy with 10% chance of precipitation and 9mph wind gust.

1pm- 15C, cloudy with 10% chance of precipitation and 10mph wind gust.

4pm- 17C sunny clouds with 10% chance of precipitation and 12mph wind gust.

7pm- 14C cloudy with 10% chance of precipitation and 10mph wind gust.

10pm- 12C cloudy with 5% chance of precipitation and 8mph wind gust.
