Police have said the death of a woman in Dunfermline last week is not believed to be suspicious.
THE death of a woman in Dunfermline last week is not being treated as suspicious.
Residents in the Baldridgeburn area of the city woke to find a large police presence after the emergency services were alerted last Wednesday morning and police initially described the death as "unexplained."
Police Scotland have now given an updated statement on the tragedy.
A spokesperson said: "Around 7.10am on Wednesday, 3 August 2022, police were called to Cuil Grove, Dunfermline, following the sudden death of a woman.
"The death is not believed to be suspicious and a report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
