SIX drivers were caught speeding during a speed watch session with Police Scotland Youth Volunteers on Tuesday.
Dunfermline Police posted on Twitter about the exercise which was part of their Stand Against Speeding campaign.
The initiative is a joint project between Dunfermline Police Community Team and Dunfermline Police Scotland Youth Volunteers to deter and prevent speeding on roads in the local area using interchangeable message boards.
Concerns have been raised with cops about speeding on roads, particularly around schools, and the campaign will urge drivers to slow down using bold messaging which can be seen easily at the roadside.
Officers tweeted: "DunfermlinePSYV took to the streets to #StandAgainstSpeeding.
"Followed up with 20 minute #CommunitySpeedWatch deployment. 6 motorists caught speeding with one driver hit 49mph in 30mph zone. Slow down."
