BORIS Johnson’s plans to bumble Brexit Britain back to its glory days by reintroducing imperial measurements were announced recently, but how have they been going down on the streets of Glasgow?
Not well for many, who would prefer to stick with the convenience of the metric system, first introduced to the UK in 1965.

While most saw through Boris’s barely concealed attempt to distract from his endless trail of recent disgraces, a couple hopped on board, ready to roll back the years and return to the good ol’ days of the British empire.
Sure it’s more confusing and the system is outdated, but it’s different from what they have in Europe, and that’s good apparently ...
