SCOTLAND has recorded 28 further deaths linked to Covid-19 in 24 hours.

This brings the total under this measure - of people who died within 28 days of testing positive - to 11,924.

The latest data also shows that 3093 new cases of the coronavirus have been identified in Scotland. Of these, 13.1% were reinfections.

The figures also show that, on Thursday, there were 1702 people in hospital with recently confirmed Covid-19.

There were 29 people in intensive care with the disease, with four of those having been there for longer than 28 days.
