SCOTLAND has recorded 45 further deaths linked to the coronavirus in 24 hours.
The news brings the total recorded under this measure - of people who died within 28 days of testing positive - to 11,860.
The latest data also shows that 3967 new positive cases were identified over the same time period. A total of 12.9% of these were reinfections.
Elsewhere, the figures also show that there were 1819 people in hospital on Tuesday with recently confirmed Covid-19. Of these, 26 were in intensive care - and six of those had been there for more than 28 days.
