Twitter is reportedly down
TWITTER users across the UK have reported problems with getting on the social media site on Monday afternoon.
While many users reported the desktop version was down, the mobile app was still working for them.
Down Detector, a site for tracking issues with Twitter, reports that the problem started around 12.42pm.
Most reported problems (59%) concern accessing the Twitter website.
A further 38% of reports state issues with the app.
The desktop site began to function properly again shortly before 2pm.
