BUSINESS communication app Slack is suffering widespread disruption to its service this afternoon, with many users reporting being unable to load the software.
At about 2.25pm the firm said it is “investigating” the issue with the app not loading up, and would soon update users on the process.
Later on Twitter, Slack wrote: "Some customer may be experiencing issues with loading Slack. We'll provide a status update once we have more information. We're sorry for the disruption."
Website Down Detector showed thousands of reports of problems spiking between 2pm and 3pm.
Slack is used by many employees to allow effective working from home.
