Scotland records 24 Covid deaths and more than 2400 new cases
ANOTHER 24 people have died in Scotland after contracting Covid-19, the latest daily figures show.
A further 2459 cases were also recorded, with a positivity rate of 12.4%.
The deaths, among people who tested positive in the previous 28 days, bring the total under that measure to 8954.
Some 869 people were in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed Covid-19, up by 12 in 24 hours.
Of those, 46 were in intensive care, an increase of two.
A total of 4,291,650 people have received their first dose of a vaccination and 3,881,744 have received their second.
