BORIS Johnson has completed a reshuffle of his Tory Cabinet in London.

With announcements filtering out through the afternoon with Conservative MPs' new roles, there were suggestions from opposition that the timing was chosen to distract from a debate on an imminent cut to Universal Credit.

Regardless of timing, Johnson's reshuffle saw his government cut ties with beleaguered education secretary Gavin Williamson, and Robert Jenrick, the housing secretary who had also been mired in controversy.

The now former justice secretary Robert Buckland has also been sacked from government.
