TOP chef Tony Singh is bringing a taste of Indian street food to Edinburgh with the launch of his Radge Chaat in the city’s Tollcross area.

Since 2017 he had been offering exclusive “supper clubs” at his home, but as pandemic lockdowns hit he was forced to think of other ways to keep his business alive. Now he and his brother Lucky will be introducing people to chaat – a savoury snack which originated in India and frequently served from roadside stalls or food carts.

Singh said: “We have all come to realise just how important our relationships with family, friends and the wider community are.

“My new venture will allow me to spend more time with my brother sharing what we love, as well as my son, Balraj ,who will be offering Japanese street food from another container.”

Radge Chaat will be available three days a week, from Thursday to Saturday from noon to 10pm, and will run alongside Singh’s supper clubs.
