MEMBERS of the Yes Stones group had a chance to show off their latest work when they held a convention in Oban on Saturday.

The collective, which has nearly 9000 members on Facebook, paint colourful pro-independence messages on stones, pebbles, and slates and leave them in places around Scotland – and indeed around the world before the pandemic struck.

The National:

Also on show in Oban were gnomes painted by group stalwart Senga MacAye, who sadly passed away in October last year. Some of the gnomes have been on a tour of Scotland.
