Taken: Hunting the Sex Traffickers (C4, 9pm)
FOR the first time, a dedicated police unit has allowed cameras to film its secret investigation into a human trafficking gang. After a package of documents is posted through the door of a police station in the middle of the night, a covert unit is tipped off to an organised crime group who are sex trafficking women from Brazil into the UK. With access to large-scale surveillance teams and undercover officers, the unit uses every tool in the box to work out how the gang operates and brings down its leader, a career criminal who’s always managed to elude the police.
Killing Escobar (BBC2, 9pm)
HOW and why was a Scottish mercenary hired to kill drug lord Pablo Escobar? This documentary tells the incredible story of Peter McAleese, who in 1989, along with his friend Dave Tomkins, was approached by a Colombian cartel to undertake a mission to take out the world’s biggest cocaine dealer. The film provides a full account of that mission and a character study of McAleese, who grew up amid poverty and violence in post-war Glasgow. After serving with the Parachute Regiment and SAS, McAleese gathered a select team for a lightning raid on Escobar’s Hacienda. It was launched after 11 weeks of intense training and preparation but ultimately ended in disaster.

TONIGHT, the contestants attempt to impress the judges with budget arrangements pulled together using $50 worth of grocery store flowers. Then, the artists bring heaven and hell to life in a group challenge of unearthly proportions – but both leaders seem to be at risk of failing to execute their visions. So who will be named winning team, and which florist from the losing side is in danger of getting the chop?
Long Lost Family (STV, 9pm)
WHEN Ann Melbourne found her birth mother more than a decade ago, she learned she was a secret and a relationship did not develop. But this hasn’t stopped Ann wanting to find her birth father and her search results in an unexpected discovery. Meanwhile, Amanda Village is on the trail of her mother, Susan, who as a teenager in the 1960s, lived at an army base. She became pregnant to a young recruit and gave the baby up for adoption.
