GB NEWS viewers have complained online after the audio and visuals failed to sync up during this afternoon’s programming.

Andrew Neil's new channel, which has been touted as the UK's answer to Fox News, launched last night.

During De Piero and Halligan’s afternoon show all about England’s planned exit from lockdown, which is reportedly going to be delayed by up to four weeks, the channel’s feed showed presenters talking – but the audio was struck by a delay itself.

At another point in the programme, the producers speaking in the presenters’ earpieces were audible to viewers.

“Would be better if the sound was in sync with the video. Very strange to watch,” one user said.

“Sort your sounds out, mouths not sync to sound, also, lots of echoing, also studio too dark,” another complained.

“The lack of sound/picture synchronization makes it impossible to watch,” added Dominic Stockford.

Another complained: "You are out of sync (and have been since the beginning) on both Freesat and the iPad app. It makes for an impossible watch, sadly."

Presenters acknowledged they had faced communication issues throughout the afternoon.
